About…

Hi! My name's Nicole Miksinski and I started this business to help serve the people on the Eastern End of Long Island, NY. There are such limited resources out here and I wanted to offer you an easy way to access these services.

My mission is to empower individuals on their journey to optimal physical health and well-being through personalized, evidence-based rehabilitation and wellness programs. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care, innovative treatments, and educational resources to support our clients in achieving their goals and living life to the fullest.

Out East Wellness works with a team of health care professionals- from Nurse Practitioners, Health Care Aides (and Live In Assistants), Doctors of Medicine, and other Physical Therapists. We work together to give you the best possible care, and will remain in communication with your Doctor’s so we are all on the same page.

A little about myself— I am a new Mama to our son Austin and am loving motherhood so far! I graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019 from Stony Brook University. Prior to attending Stony Brook University, I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. I pursued three different internships in Cape Town, South Africa, working with the Pediatric population. Throughout PT school, I interned at two outpatient clinics in East Hampton, New York, one Skilled Nursing Facility/Sub Acute Rehab in Riverhead, New York, and one outpatient clinic in Austin, Texas. I have experience working with all populations of people— from babies to the geriatric population, and everyone in between!

Throughout my undergraduate career as an Athletic Trainer, I was assigned to D1 football/softball and D2 basketball/volleyball/soccer.

I am also Certified in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy. On my off time, you can find me working out at the gym, hiking or surfing in Montauk, and spending time with my friends and family.
